Description:
The presentation will focus on introducing standardized voice and upper airway assessment tools used by voice centers across the country, as well as highlighting markers appropriate for patient referrals. Evidence-based therapy techniques and voice use recommendations will be discussed in context of voice symptoms and laryngeal pathology.

K. Annalize Sussman is a singing voice specialized Speech-Language Pathologist at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. She primarily treats patients with changes to the professional singing and speaking voice, in addition to cough and upper airway disorders.
