Description:

The selected applicants will perform examinations and treatments of individuals referred to speech therapy. based on the examination, the speech language pathologist (SLP) organizes and constructs a treatment plan of care that is designed to restore function, prevent disability, and assist in the attainment of the patient's maximum functional level. The written plan of care is expected to follow the required documentation standards set forth by regulating agencies such as the North Carolina Board for Speech Language Pathologists & Audiologists & CMS. Requirements: Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology program or Master's degree in Communication Science and Disorders required Annual certificate of licensure by the State of North Carolina required Certificate of clinical competence in speech language pathology awarded by ASHA required BLS certification required One (1) year of clinical experience required
