The North Carolina Speech, Hearing and Language Association is pleased to offer this compelling, interactive Webinar led by Dr. Wayne Foster, PhD. Join Dr. Foster as he discusses the ASHA Code of Ethics and the function of the ASHA Board of Ethics, as well as a series of thought-provoking examples that illustrate common ethical dilemmas. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, an additional relevant focus will be on potential ethical issues with telepractice.

Learner Outcomes:
1. The attendee will identify the four principles of the ASHA Code of Ethics.
2. The attendee will describe the function of the ASHA Board of Ethics and its relationship with state licensure.
3. The attendee will review scenarios and describe the potential ethical violation.
