On behalf of the Board of Directors, I welcome you to our new site!  This refreshing, user-friendly portal will allow us to connect with our members, inform the public, and promote the outstanding work of our association.  The site is still under construction, so please pardon our dust-- however, we invite you to look around and see what's new!  If you're new to NCSHLA or you haven't renewed in a while, I hope THIS will be the year you check us out.  From our advocacy efforts to our amazing annual convention, NCSHLA is working for YOU. I'm excited to see where this year takes us.  What can NCSHLA do for you today?

Congratulations to NCSHLA Lobbyist, Ashley Perkinson, on being named one of North State Journal's top 25 lobbyists in North Carolina in 2021 out of over 750 registered lobbyists!

Ashley Perkinson represents both statewide and national organizations at the North Carolina General Assembly. She has grown her practice by always keeping her clients' interest and success as the focus of her work.

Ashley currently serves on the Board of the North Carolina Symphony and SAFEchild. She also formerly served as president of the Phi Beta Kappa Association of Wake County, chair of the Distinguished Guests Committee of the Junior League of Raleigh's 2013 Inaugural Ball, and secretary of the Wake County Bar Association.  In 2011, Ashley was named by Triangle Business Journal as one of the Triangle's 40 Under 40.

Ashley is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Journalism and School of Law. Ashley enjoys providing government relations services to her clients.
