NCSHLA SLP-ASSISTANT STUDENT EDUCATIONAL ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

SLP-Assistant student members of The North Carolina Speech, Hearing and Language Association are encouraged to apply for the annual SLP-Assistant educational achievement award presented by NCSHLA on the basis of academic excellence and merit. This award is made during NCSHLA’s annual convention.

Nomination Criteria:

  1. Enrollment in or acceptance to a training program in a North Carolina Community College SLP-Assistant program.
  2. Minimum grade point average of 3.0.
  3. Current paid Student membership in the North Carolina Speech, Hearing and Language Association.
  4. Complete APPLICATION FORM, accompanied by TWO LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION (one must come from a college/university faculty member), and a LIST OF CREDITS (official transcript not required).
  5. A cover letter which clearly describes service activities related to the profession of speech-language pathology and audiology.

Application form, college credits, and letters of recommendation must be sent to the Membership & Recognition Committee no later than January 15, 2018, in order to be considered for award at the 2018 Annual Convention in Raleigh.

COMPLETE APPLICATION MUST BE POSTMARKED BY January 15, 2018.
