Express Communication Therapy a Kernersville North Carolina- based Speech – language pathology private practice is hiring a clinical supervisor for an SLP-A. We are searching for highly motivated Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist in NC area (Salisbury, Greensboro, High Point,).

We provide speech and language services to children from birth to 10 years of age in a variety of settings such as day care centers, Head Starts, schools, telepractice, and, the child’s home. The qualified applicant will be working in daycares, schools, conducting services via telepractice, in-homes and other such settings and must have strong clinical skills necessary to treat independently. Very little travel to confined areas within the community. Work part-time hours or full-time and receive a competitive travel pay. Express Communication Therapy currently has a built caseload with a variety of cases.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Entry Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Speech Language Pathology
• MUST HAVE Valid NC State licensure/certification
• Comfortable working in various settings (i.e. daycare centers,
private homes, after school programs, etc.)
• Knowledge of telepractice.
• Strong knowledge of computer, Ipad and other technology device.
• Comfortable working with various cultural, social and economic
diversity
• Have at least of 4 years as practicing as a speech language
pathologist
• Flexible personality
• Detail oriented
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Clean Criminal background
• Knowledge of basic computer skills
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Manage own schedule

Responsibilities:

• Develop therapy and treatment plans for speech and language
disorders for the supervise.
• Supervise SLP-A following ASHA standards and NC speech language
board.
• Supervise SLPA Virtually and in the field.
• Treat pediatric population with heavy emphasis in early
intervention, school ages, and preschool age.
• Implement standardized tests for accurate diagnosis of
communication disorders
• Establish treatment goals and milestones with patients
• Document and store treatment plans and progress reports
• Document and store supervision notes between SLP A and
supervisor SLP.
• Update patient progress to teacher, family and relevant
documentation
• Communicate with families, team, and lead SLP
• Maintain ASHA CEU requirements and take supervision CEU
• Travel to service locations and accommodate flexible schedules.
• Comply with ASHA code of ethics
• Navigate and complete Word documents for documentation
• Complete all documentation and records in a timely and accurate
manner
