NCSHLA keeps all members informed about events and happenings across North Carolina and throughout the nation. The association is a familiar face at all national events.

State Member Events

The association sponsors two major continuing education activities during the year which provide the opportunity for educational development and information exchange. Our Spring Convention includes our annual business meeting and our Fall Conference hosts the annual business meeting of the NC chapter of American Association of Audiologists. Both meetings provide:

• Variety of continuing education credits
• Presentations on current advances and clinical topics
• National and state presenters in speech/language pathology, audiology, education, and professional affairs
• Networking opportunities to strengthen professional relationships
• A forum for the exchange of ideas and opinions
• Abstracts of all sessions and events in a printed and bound program
• Job placement services
• Exhibits of current technology, services, and professional agencies

As an affiliate chapter of ASHA and AAA, NCSHLA is proud to participate in national meetings to help represent the Tar Heel state.
