Speech-Language Pathologists will work in an acute care medical setting, working primarily with adults who have communication, cognition and swallowing disorders. Mentorships in advanced practice areas are available.
A Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology is required. Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP awarded by ASHA or currently completing Clinical Fellowship year. NC SLP license required. Special interest and experience in speech language, cognitive and swallowing disorders is preferred.
