O’Berry Neuro Medical Treatment Center is looking for a full-time Master’s level Speech-Language Pathologist. OBNMTC is a state residential combined ICF/MR & skilled nursing facility committed to maximizing the person-centered experiences for those who live here. We are located in Goldsboro, NC between Raleigh & the Carolina Beaches.

Qualifications: Minimum requirements include a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology as required by the N.C. licensing statute (G.S. 90-292), a current and valid license issued by the Board of Examiners for Speech/Language Pathologist and Audiologist, and two years of experience in a therapeutic program serving children and/or adults communicative disorders; or in lieu of master’s degree, qualifications deemed equivalent by the Board from an accredited institution, plus two years of the above experience.

Description: Position will be challenged to collaboratively develop individualized habilitation plans or plan of care as a member of an interdisciplinary team for each individual residing at the center. Duties include assessment of communication and eating/swallowing, program development, direct communication facilitation and training of staff.
