NCSHLA Annual Awards

2010 State Clinical Achievement Award

In conjunction with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation (ASHF), NCSHLA annually selects a member to receive an award for recent (within the last three years) contributions to the advancement of clinical practice in speech/language pathology and audiology.


2010 Student Achievement Award

Student members of NCSHLA are encouraged to apply for the annual educational achievement award presented by NCSHLA on the basis of academic excellence and merit.


2010 Public Information Award

Recognized outstand promotional campaigns, award winners serve to promote better awareness of the services of speech/language pathologists and audiologists because their ideas aid other members with marketing efforts and demonstrate both professionalism and innovation in the content, form, and message of their campaigns.


2010 Honors of the Association

Honors of the Association is the highest honor NCSHLA can give. Honors of the Association shall be conferred in recognition of consistent, long-term, distinguished contributions to the Association or to the communication disorders profession.



CSAP Nancy McKinley Leadership Award

Nancy McKinley, CSAP President 2001, was the embodiment of a selfless volunteer dedicated to promoting the professions of speech-language pathology and audiology, and supporting those who had chosen one of these professions as their career.
