ED Launches Early Learning Initiative Web Page
Published: 2010-07-21
As part of its focus on early learning, the U.S. Department of Education (ED) has created an Early Learning Initiative Web page. The new page provides information on:
- key programs, funding opportunities, resources and publications, technical assistance, and interagency work;
- early learning in the Administration’s proposal for reauthorizing the Elementary and Secondary Education; and
- investments in early learning across Departments.
It includes presentation materials, a webinar, blog posts, and public comments from ED’s Listening and Learning about Early Learning tour, as well as information about the upcoming Early Childhood 2010: Innovation for the Next Generation Conference, which will be held August 3-4 in Washington, DC.
