Let Your Voice Be Heard on ASHA's 2011 Public Policy Agenda

Published: 2010-05-10

ASHA's Government Relations and Public Policy (GRPP) Board is requesting your assistance for input in the development of the Association's 2011 Public Policy Agenda. One of the goals of the GRPP Board is to ensure member input to identify and prioritize the annual agenda's issue objectives.

In order for ASHA to most effectively advocate before Congress, federal executive branch agencies, and state governments in 2011, it is the GRPP Board's intent to develop the 2011 Public Policy Agenda so that it is approved and published by November. This agenda has been instrumental in focusing our advocacy efforts that have led to a number of victories and advancements in both the federal and state legislative and regulatory arenas.

Providing comments for ASHA's 2011 Public Policy Agenda is easier than ever. This year, comments will be accepted through an
online survey process where you can rate what’s important to you.  Please take a few minutes and rate what matters to you through the online survey. The current 2010 Public Policy Agenda is posted on ASHA’s Web site for you reference. Comments are due by June 30, 2010.
